Excuse my stupid question but I am not real mechanically inclined. I winterized my bike today and was not sure where the oil drain plug is located. It is on the right side below the fill right? When I drained it I only got about 3/4 of a quart oil from it. the fill window showed a little oil at the bottom. What am I doing wrong. I tilted the bike back and forth and held it upright until no more oil came out. Am I draining from the right place? I feel good about doing the maintainance myself, I just want to do it right. The rest went well (spark plug removal and oil in cylinder, and battery removal).
I just have to wait for a friend to visit to put it up on blocks. thanks and KTRSD to all those lucky enough to ride year around.
